Project Management Framework

P.E.C. consists of a multidimensional database which allows to establish, to consolidate and to evaluate all relevant information concerning project management of the enterprise and to exchange data with other applications. The necessary tools are integrated in the system as modules which can be adapted to their specific purpose anytime. The modular structure of P.E.C. allows enhancements with additional functions as well as the adaptation and enhancement of existing components.

The Core of P.E.C.

The core of the P.E.C. framework consists of a central database. It contains all relevant project information. Due to the fully developed hierarchical system several decentralized databases may be consolidated to a project centre and evaluated. The database allows to integrate subsidiaries or other enterprise parts at a later stage without touching the existing project structures. These properties are particularly important in large multi enterprise projects, consortiums, military and infrastructure projects.

P.E.C. of course contains the necessary interfaces to communicate with external suppliers and clients (i.e. batch input/output, replication) and interfaces to e.g. Microsoft Project and SAP R/3 PS. As P.E.C. is entirely database based, interfaces to any other sql databases may be established.
